BIKINI BEAUTIFUL

Check it out : http://www.very.co.uk/adidas-originals/e/b/21805.end

The summer is finally here! But while we celebrate the emergence of the sun – usually with a gin and tonic – part of us wants to curl up and hide. What happened to that ambitious beach body regime we drew up a couple of months ago? Fear not, there’s still time to tone up for the summer.

Firstly, don’t start tomorrow – start right now. If you keep putting off a new routine, you’ll only make it harder. Start making changes to your lifestyle right now.

One of the main culprits for piling on the extra pounds, without really noticing, is snacking. Most of us are partial to snacking at work or in the evening, once we’re sprawled out in front of the TV, and it’s a hard habit to break. Instead of cutting it out completely – a tactic that’s unlikely to work – try a substitution method. Instead of jelly beans, try dried fruit for your sugar kick. Rather than grabbing a bag of crisps, opt for unbuttered popcorn – a great snack which also fills you up.

But there’s really no avoiding it – you need to get active to tone up. When planning a new exercise regime, choose something that you enjoy. Some of us love running, but others hate it. Don’t force yourself into anything you’re likely to resent – it’ll only mean you avoid it like the plague. Opt for an exercise that you’ll get some enjoyment out of, or make it into a social event by attending an exercise class with a friend.

If you need a little inspiration, try investing in some new exercise gear. It’s amazing what you’ll do for an excuse to wear that hot new adidas Originals racer-back top! Remember, it’s the small changes that usually make the difference. Walking to the shops instead of driving can make a big impact – especially if you then carry all your shopping home with you afterwards.

Keep your goal in mind. Whenever you feel like reaching for the chocolate, think about your upcoming holiday. And remember that putting on the pounds is a hundred times easier than burning them off. A 30 minute class of Ashtanga yoga burns 154 calories, and a chocolate muffin contains 440!

Ultimately, if all else fails, there are still a few cheat options. Fake tan is one of the best slimming techniques around, and with the right application, can hide a multitude of sins.
Thank goodness!

oh sigh..."ambitious beach body" rings such a clear bell in my head haha. I had this goal but lately I've been falling by the wayside, still eating too much and still not being active enough. thanks for the boost of motivation. I found a really good tip in your post to be to always keep your goal in mind. we don't carry around a mirror everywhere we go so often we just blindly think it's ok to eat crap and not worry about the consequences. anyway thanks again for the reminder! xD
